Gerald Gerstbauer Honored by the Republic of Azerbaijan

On June 5, 2026, our CEO and Founder, Commercial Councillor Gerald Gerstbauer, MBA, MLE, was awarded the medal “For Service in Diaspora Activity” by the Republic of Azerbaijan during an official ceremony at the Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Vienna.

The distinction was presented by H.E. Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in recognition of Gerald Gerstbauer’s long-standing contribution to strengthening economic, political, and cultural relations between Austria and Azerbaijan.

Since 2013, Gerald Gerstbauer has served as President of the Austrian-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (ATAZ), actively promoting bilateral economic cooperation, facilitating business delegations, and fostering sustainable partnerships between Austrian and Azerbaijani companies and institutions.

This distinction represents an important recognition of his continued commitment to international cooperation and building lasting bridges between business, institutions, and cultures.
